Community Health Promoter

I am 42 years old, I came to this country when I was 17 years old, graduated from David Star Jordan High School in Long Beach California. Attended LB Community College, Compton Community College and East LA Community College.

Started working in the office field 20 years ago, worked at LA County office as temp for a year, then Bodega Latina Corporation for 2 years, after that Worked at Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center for 12 years in the Administration Department.

Become Promotora as Domestic Violence in 2019, did volunteering as promotora for East LA Women Center, then graduated as Health Promotora in 2020 at Esperanza Community Housing and hired at Esperanza Community Housing in October 2020 for the "Esperanza-Lanterman Promotora Program" as Case Management.

I am very pleased to work here and been in loved of what I do, supporting low-income families with a disabled family member to inform and educate about Lanterman Regional Center and Generics Services and to pursuit for services.
