Deisy García Hernández arrived in the U.S. in 2000, driven by a passion for service and helping others. She has dedicated herself to supporting families and building healthier communities through education, leadership, and compassion. Deisy has contributed as a T-Ball coach and school council representative, always advocating for children and families. In 2019, she joined Esperanza Community Housing as a Community Health Promoter, educating families on nutrition, physical activity, asthma prevention, Healthy Homes, and pest management. She believes knowledge empowers families to make healthier choices and create safer homes. She continuously seeks professional growth to better support her community.
